This display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and responsiveness. It also offers HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 1300 nits, providing vibrant visuals and excellent outdoor visibility. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, enhancing its durability. Additionally, the device includes an Always-On Display feature, allowing users to view essential information without fully activating the screen.

Performance

The Nothing Phone (2a) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, built on a 4nm process. This octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A715 performance cores clocked up to 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 efficiency cores up to 2.0 GHz, delivering a balanced performance suitable for everyday tasks and moderate multitasking.

Battery and Camera

Camera system: The Nothing Phone (2a) is equipped with a dual-camera system designed to deliver high-quality photography. The primary camera features a 50 MP wide-angle lens with an f/1.9 aperture, utilizing a 1/1.56″ sensor and 1.0µm pixels, supported by phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and optical image stabilization (OIS) to ensure sharp and stable images. Accompanying this is a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, 1/2.76″ sensor, and 0.64µm pixels, offering a 114˚ field of view and autofocus capabilities, making it suitable for capturing expansive scenes. The camera system also includes an LED flash, panorama mode, and HDR support to enhance image quality under various lighting conditions. For video recording, the rear cameras support 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, and 1080p at 60 or 120 fps, with gyro-EIS for stable footage. On the front, the device features a 32 MP wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, capable of recording 1080p video at 60 fps, suitable for clear selfies and video calls.

Battery: he Nothing Phone (2a) is equipped with a robust 5,000mAh non-removable battery, designed to provide extended usage for various activities. This high-capacity battery ensures that users can enjoy prolonged periods of device operation without the need for frequent recharging. When it’s time to recharge, the device supports 45W wired charging, allowing the battery to be replenished efficiently. Additionally, it is compatible with 15W Qi wireless charging, providing flexibility in charging methods. The device also features 5W reverse wireless charging, enabling users to power accessories like the Ear (2) on-the-go.
